In 2004, I was contracted by the Iraq's Interim Committee to Administer Sport to deliver specialist sport development and corporate strategy policy. This relationship later continued with the National Olympic Committee of Iraq. Negotiated and manage Iraq's first sport sponsorship agreement (with LG Electronics) which led the way for over USD$3million of commercial sponsorship between 2005-7.

The contract included Commercial Management and implemtation of a Governance Mentorship Programme, Corporate relations at Athens 2004 Olympiads on behalf of the Olympic Committee of Iraq and liasing with the International Olympic Committee (IOC)

It was an special honour to join the management team leading the Iraqi mission to the Athens Olympics in 2004 heralding Iraq's return to the international arena.
